TOYS IN THE ATTIC 2010
What are we looking for? What’s my motivation?
Everyone loves toys. Everyone has toys. Whether it’s your 4 year old or your dad, everyone has a toy of some sort, from Legos to motorcycles. What are the things we turn to when it’s time to play?
We are looking for art prints inspired by toys. Your favorite childhood toys, your favorite toys now that you’re an adult, your kid’s favorite toys, the toys you’re tired of tripping over in the hallway in the middle of the night. Anything goes. Yes ANYTHING as long as it’s a “toy”.
All prints need to be 12″x12″ and we’re asking artists to DONATE 15 copies of their print to the show. You can print as many as you like and sell them wherever else you see fit. Traditional Printing methods only please (RELIEF, INTAGLIO, SERIGRAPH, etc…)
If you’re interested please fill out the contact form on the website and PLEASE INCLUDE A LINK TO YOUR WORK/WEBSITE. You WILL NOT be considered for participation with out one.
The deadline for getting on the participant list will be Oct. 1 and the deadline for delivering your work for the event will be November 1st, 2010.
There’s room for anywhere between 30 – 60(ish) artists. Please spread the word.
